How to Test Your Microphone
- Click the microphone button above
- Allow browser access to your microphone when prompted
- Speak or make a sound — you should see the waveform move
- If the waveform responds, your mic is working!
Mic Not Working?
- Make sure your mic is plugged in and selected as the input device
- Check that the browser has permission to access the microphone
- Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
- On Windows: Settings → Privacy → Microphone → Allow apps to access
- On Mac: System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Microphone
FAQ
Do you record my audio?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. We never record, store, or transmit any audio from your microphone.
Why can't the browser access my mic?
You may have previously denied permission. Click the lock/info icon in your browser's address bar and allow microphone access, then refresh the page.
